The district has partnered with Virtual Care for Families to make it possible for your child to be treated under the care of a pediatrician or pediatric specialized provider right in the school nurse’s office through two-way video conference. It’s like a visit to your pediatrician’s office without leaving school! Please register your child today via http://duck.care/fabens.

This benefits you as the parent in the following ways:

• You don’t have to leave work and make a visit with a doctor, children are seen right in the nurse's office by a provider.
• We can do strep, flu, and COVID-19 testing if your child has symptoms.
• We can also treat your child for flu, strep, allergies, rash, fever, cough, stomach ache, nausea, menstrual cramps, and much more.

Is There A Cost To Use The Service for Children with Active Medicaid?

No. All Texas Medicaid plans are accepted and visits for active Medicaid-covered patients will be free. We understand that times are difficult, and you shouldn’t have to worry about the wellness of your child or an unexpected bill. Medicaid fully covers the cost of medical services given Virtual Care for Families.
