📝 Returning Student Registration Guide

Welcome back, Wildcats! To ensure your child is successfully registered and enrolled to attend classes for the upcoming school year, a parent or legal guardian must complete the annual online information update.

Please follow the steps below to complete the registration process using the Fabens ISD Frontline Online Registration Portal.

Before You Begin

📄 Gather Your Documents: Ensure you have an updated Proof of Residency (such as a recent water, electric, or gas utility bill under your name or landlord) and any updated Immunization Records ready to upload.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 3. Log In with your Parent Credentials
Log in using your existing Parent Self-Serve username and password.

Note for District Employees: If you work for Fabens ISD, log in using your standard Frontline User ID and password.

Forgot username or password? Click on the appropriate link on the login page, or contact your child's campus registrar for assistance.

Step 4. Review & Complete Forms
Once logged in, verify your child's information across the tabs. Update any addresses, emergency contacts, or health updates.

Step 5. Electronically Sign and Submit

Sign all your forms digitally.
CRITICAL: Make sure to click the Submit button at the end of each individual form to save your progress. You can stop and restart at any time, and your work will be saved.

Step 6. Save Your Confirmation
Once all tabs are completed and submitted, a final confirmation page will appear with a registration number. Print this page, capture it with your mobile device or write down the confirmation number for your records.

Important Reminders for Parents:

Annual Updates are Mandatory: A student is not officially registered to attend school until the online enrollment process is fully completed.

Paper Alternative: If your child's campus does not receive these completed electronic forms, paper copies will be sent home for you to complete by hand.

New This Year (SB 12): Please make sure to fill out the Counseling and Health Service Consent Form inside the portal to grant permission for routine campus services (like first aid and vision screenings).

Enrollment Requirements

To enroll a student in Fabens ISD, a parent or legal guardian must complete the entire enrollment process. A student is not considered registered or permitted to attend classes until all required steps are finalized.

Proof of Residence
Parents or legal guardians will be required to document their address by showing legal documents such as lease agreements, contracts, or utility bills.

Proof of Age
All students must show a copy of their birth certificate.

Transfer of Records
The school will request a copy of a student's records from the previous school attended. If the child was enrolled in a Texas public school, these records will be requested from the previous campus electronically. If the transfer is out-ot-sate, the request will be made by the campus personnel via fax. The information will include an identification number (either social security number or state number), county-district-campus number, campus name, and phone number, sex, ethnicity, date of birth, and current grade level. Most districts will also send grades and standardized test scores. Special education records must be requested separately.

THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED FOR REGISTRATION:
- Birth Certificate: Government-issued Birth Certificate or other documents suitable as proof of the child's identity and age.
- Immunization record: Provide proof that immunizations are up to date.
- Social Security Card: If a child does not have a Social Security number, an id number will be assigned.
- Proof of Residence: Utility bill (Electric, Gas, or Water) must be under the parent's/guardian's name. If under someone else's name, please provide a proof of residence letter from the person they live with. For additional information, click here.
- Transfer Application Completed During the Online Registration Process: Fabens ISD is an open enrollment district. We welcome students that wish to transfer to Fabens ISD. Fabens ISD offers the Cotton Valley Early College Program, P-TECH, and TSTEM Academies.

Required Documents

THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED FOR REGISTRATION:
- A registration packet must be filled out annually ( Packets were sent out by individual campuses)
- Utility Bill (water, gas, electric), lease, contract, etc. must be provided annually at the time of enrollment
- Alternate Proof of Residence Notarized annually (if no bill is available)
- Updated Immunization Record
- Birth Certificate
- Parent ID
- Social Security Card (if applicable)
- Any notarized documents (to include Power of Attorney, Grandparent After-School Care, Custody court order, etc.)
- Student's previous school records (if new to FISD)
