What will you miss about high school?
I will miss walking down the halls alone or with a friend, enjoying life without its reality. I will miss my youth, the pep rallies, the Friday night lights, the chip smell in every classroom, and above all, I will miss the memories.
I will miss how easy it was to reach out to someone in joyful and upsetting moments. I will miss my morning talks with Ms. Jones. I will miss seeking for my favorite teachers for life advice.
I will miss the bond with the class, my friends, because high school would be so dull without them.
What teacher(s) made the biggest impact in your life?
To Dr. Pearson, thank you for pushing me to become a better version of myself. You have shown me to be confident, fearless, and strong.
To Ms. Alvarado, thank you for always being there for me and motivating me to persevere.
To Mr. Castillo, thank you for your fatherly love and wisdom that will guide me through life.
To Ms. Lujan, thank you for your compassion and endless support.
To Ms. Martinez, thank you for truly being my #1 cheerleader and believing in me.
To Dr. Hevert, thank you for always having our back.
Where does life take you after high school?
My primary goal is to become a successful registered nurse. I would like to work in El Paso, Texas, but I'm in God's hands.
Travel is definitely on my bucket list, but I would like to have a stable lifestyle first.
What do you see yourself doing in 5-10 years?
In five years, I hope to happily be working as a nurse , and be stable enough to be independent and help my family when needed.
If I could control my future, in ten years, I would like to be working, financially stable, healthy, and perhaps travel outside of Texas. All in all, I wish to be alive, happy, and enjoying life.
Quote to live by?
“The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.”- Eleanor Roosevelt
