Welcome to the Fabens Independent School District Corovavirus Information Site, a dedicated space on our district website designed to keep parents, staff, and the entire community informed about the potential effects of the Coronavirus.
We have created this centralized site with updates and links to additional resources, including FAQs, questions/concerns and resources such as links to the El Paso Department of Public Health and the CDC.
This site serves as an ongoing reliable resource for the entire school community, demonstrating proactive and transparent access to critical information. We will continue to update this with news and information as it becomes available. It is our mission to keep you informed on how we are preparing to cope with Coronavirus and any other potential health-related or time-critical topics. We hope you'll find it useful.
Fabens ISD encourages everyone to get vaccinated against COVID-19, to stop the spread of the virus. For more information on vaccinations please refer to the following links:
COVID-19 TESTING INFORMATION
Due to the public health emergency ending on May 11, 2023, Fabens ISD will no longer have free COVID-19 tests available for students. Students are still able to receive COVID-19, flu and strep throat testing through the district's telemedicine program. To register your child for telemedicine services, click here
You may still be eligible to receive free at-home tests through your insurance. Please visit your insurance website for more information on coverage.
You may also visit any Walgreen's or CVS to set an appointment for testing. Click on the following links for more information.
