CHILD NUTRITION
Our mission at the Fabens Independent School District Child Nutrition Department is to provide our students with healthy and nutritious meals daily to supplement the essential link between nutrition and education in accordance with all applicable set by the USDA and TDA guidelines.
Goals of Child Nutrition:
- Serve nutritionally adequate, appealing and healthy meals
- Help children grow socially and emotionally
- Extend educational influences to the homes of school children
- Improve children’s food habits with the ultimate goal of developing healthy adults
- Comply with federal, state, and local requirements
SUPPER PROGRAM 2025
Tickets are on sale November 3–14, 2025 — no exceptions.
Available for purchase at every campus.
Cost: $10 per person
Ticket Limits:

(2) tickets per enrolled student’s household

(1) ticket per district employee

Wednesday, November 19: Fabens Elementary & Fabens Middle School

Thursday, November 20: O’Donnell Intermediate & Fabens High School
Menu Includes:
Turkey & Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Peas & Carrots, Wheat Roll, Cranberry Sauce, and Pumpkin Pie.
