The Fabens ISD Board of Trustees is responsible for establishing and revising the District’s fiscal and administrative policies and procedures. In partnership with the Superintendent—whom the Board appoints to oversee all daily educational and administrative functions—the Board exercises ongoing oversight to ensure these policies and procedures remain current, effective, and aligned with the District’s strategic priorities.

Election to the Board is a commitment to stewardship.  Serving entirely on a voluntary, pro bono basis, Trustees generously dedicate their time, expertise, and energy to ensure the success and sustainability of Fabens ISD. 

Working in partnership with the Superintendent, our shared goal is to equip every Fabens ISD graduate with the knowledge and skills necessary for lifelong success. In support of this mission, the Board prioritizes the creation and maintenance of a safe, positive, and academically focused learning environment. The Board further encourages all students to fully engage in the District’s comprehensive curriculum and its wide range of extracurricular opportunities.
