In an effort to provide instructional and/or behavioral support to special education students in the least restrictive environment (inclusion), regular and special education teachers attended a training on August 17th on co-teaching and the various models of effective co-teaching practices.

A training was held on August 11th for Special Education Teachers, Educational Diagnosticians, Speech Therapists and Related Service Providers on goal-writing on the SuccessEd IEP system.

Executive Functioning Training

This training was held on May 17th in the Central Office Board Room. The training session focused on several mental skills in executive functioning to help the brain organize and act on information. These skills enable children and teens to plan, organize, remember things, prioritize, pay attention and get started on tasks. This highly engaging and practical workshop was filled with with hands-on activities and simulations. Every participant received the book Boosting Executive Skills in the Classroom, A Practical Guide for Educators.
