Fabens High School hosted the annual Open House event this past Monday. Students and parents had to the opportunity to get acquainted with their teachers for the 2019-2020 school year.
It was also a night of opportunity for teachers and instructors to go over classroom expectations and guidelines.
"At Open House, I talked to all of my teachers, but my main goal was to meet with the teachers of my credit requirements, which are Research and Design, Communication Applications, English and Pre-Cal," senior Alejandro Colin said.
"I thought it was important to attend because I am a senior and I need to make sure I don't fall behind in my classes."
English teacher Ms. Jenny Lujan who recently moved into her new classroom at the High School was happy with the turnout.
"There were a lot of parents that came and were excited to see what was going on in class and to hear about my classes rules. They were really supportive so it went well," Lujan said.
If you were unable to attend Open House Night, you may schedule a conference with your child's teacher during their conference period.
